Jodie Cox
I have been a local plan manager in Cairns since the NDIS launched here in 2018. I help people navigate the complexities of the NDIS, am an ear and a kind voice on the end of the phone. I endeavour to make a difference every day and exceed client expectations. I won't shy away, I'll trouble shoot and follow through to resolution. I am an advocate for fairness in every aspect of my life and my career.
We appreciate how important it is that we understand our rural and remote clients and communities. We know that generally, people want to speak to people, not 'bots' or automated voice recordings, but real people (and preferably not working from centralised call centres or a corporate tower!).
Everyone in our team lives in regional Queensland and provides down-to-earth, friendly and personalised support to people living with disability in regional and remote Australia. From the Kimberley and Northern Territory border across the Arafura Way to Gulf Country and the Cape, Western and Central Queensland, Cairns, Townsville and everywhere in between, there's a pretty good chance we've been to your town, and we definitely know how to pronounce it!
